Petra Ministries are the many expressions of our mission to love God, love people, and make disciples. From kids and youth to outreach and worship, each ministry is designed to help people grow in faith, build community, and serve with purpose.
Petra Worship
Petra Worship is more than music—it’s a movement of praise that flows from Sunday into everyday life. This ministry brings together vocalists, instrumentalists, and media creatives who work as one to lead the church in heartfelt worship and create meaningful, God-centered experiences. Whether through music or media, our team serves with excellence to glorify God and inspire others to encounter Him deeply. Volunteers are welcome to bring their musical or technical gifts to be part of this dynamic expression of worship.
Petra Kids
Petra Kids is a vibrant ministry dedicated to helping children discover God’s love and truth in a fun, safe, and engaging environment. Our team of passionate volunteers teaches the Bible in ways that are age-appropriate and impactful. Serving in Petra Kids involves more than just teaching—it includes praying for our kids, welcoming them with joy, guiding their behavior with grace, and growing together through regular training and support.
Petra Hospitality
Petra Hospitality is all about creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere where everyone feels seen, valued, and at home. This team serves both visitors and regular attenders with Christ-like kindness through practical acts of service—greeting, setting up, preparing refreshments, ushering, and ensuring spaces are clean and ready. Every detail matters, and this team plays a vital role in shaping the Sunday experience from start to finish.
Petra Ladies
Petra Ladies is a vibrant community where women come together to grow in faith, friendship, and Christlikeness. Through gatherings like picnics, Bible studies, creative activities, and intentional conversations, the women of Petra encourage, equip, and uplift one another in every season of life.
Petra Men
Petra Men is a brotherhood committed to building each other up spiritually, professionally, and as leaders in their homes. Through barbecues, heart-to-heart conversations, and intentional gatherings, the men of Petra challenge and support one another to grow in faith, character, and purpose. It’s a space for real talk, real growth, and real community.
Petra Young Professionals
Petra Young Professionals is a community for young adults navigating the transitions of life—whether in college, starting a career, or early in marriage. This group meets for hangouts, fun, and meaningful connection, creating space to tackle real-life challenges with practical, biblical teaching. It’s all about growing together in faith while building lasting friendships and a strong foundation for the future.
Petra Next Gen.
Petra Next Gen is our vibrant youth ministry designed for teenagers to grow in faith, character, and community. Through vocational Bible studies, fun hangouts, and engaging teaching filled with biblical illustrations, teens are equipped to live out their faith in everyday life. It’s a space where they can connect with peers, ask real questions, and be built up spiritually in a way that’s relevant and life-giving.
Petra Equip
Petra Equip is a short course program designed to empower believers with biblical knowledge, practical skills, and spiritual insights for effective service within the church and community. Offering courses on topics like biblical studies, life skills, and ministry development, this program helps individuals grow in faith and practical application. Petra Equip provides accessible learning opportunities through engaging sessions, fostering spiritual growth, community building, and preparing participants for meaningful service.
Petra Connect
Petra Connect groups meet weekly in family homes, providing a space for meaningful fellowship and discussion. These groups reflect on the Sunday sermon, ask questions, and share insights while enjoying refreshments together. It’s a great opportunity to grow in faith, build relationships, and be encouraged by one another in a relaxed, intimate setting.
Petra Koinonia
In line with our commitment to fellowship, as described in Acts 2:42, Petra Koinonia meets monthly to share a meal and engage in Bible study together. This inclusive gathering allows every member of our church family, from children to adults, to connect, grow in faith, and experience community in a meaningful and shared way.
Mount Petra
Mount Petra is our weekly corporate prayer gathering, rooted in the biblical call to “devote yourselves to prayer” (Colossians 4:2) and to “pray without ceasing” (1 Thessalonians 5:17). We believe prayer is a vital means of grace—helping us grow in our relationship with God and in fellowship with one another. Join us as we seek God together and stand united in faith through prayer.
